Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience, is required. Typical experience is a minimum of two years.


Required Qualifications

  • Two years or more of teaching experience in Grades 3-12 Mathematics content area in Iowa is required. 
  • Experience in interpretation and application of the Iowa Academic Standards in Mathematics is required. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a welcoming and respectful workplace environment is required. 


 Desired Qualifications

  • Experience creating materials for large scale Grades 3-12 assessments is desired.
