Accountant
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience (typically 6 months) related accounting experience
- Must be proficient in computer software applications/demonstrated competence with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good organizational and analytical /statistical skills as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems is desirable
- Knowledge of University business policies and procedures is desirable
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials and E-Pro Systems is desirable
- Experience analyzing data for fraudulent activity
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Demonstrated presentation skills
