Administrative Services Coordinator
The College of Education is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator. This position will coordinate administrative operations for the UI REACH program in the College of Education. The Administrative Services Coordinator provides support to the director and administrators and coordinates office procedures, processes, content management systems, and workflow. This role serves as the front-line liaison from UI REACH to its constituents, including UI REACH students, staff, faculty, families, and the public.
This is a full-time specified term appointment with the possibility for renewal at the end of the term.
Specific Job Duties and Tasks
Serve as office manager for the UI REACH program.
Provide support to the director and administrators; monitor and coordinate office activities and administrative work processes.
Serve on UIR leadership team.
Coordinate special programs, meetings, and conferences by arranging logistics, taking minutes, preparing and distributing materials.
Maintain content management system (currently Salesforce) including acting as liaison to the vendor, training staff on using the CMS, running reports, and entering data as required.
Coordinate communication as the front-line liaison with students, families, and the general public regarding inquiries and requests, requiring discretion and independent judgment.
Participate in the admissions process including tracking applicant materials, scheduling interviews and tours, and other duties as assigned by the director.

UI REACH (Realizing Educational and Career Hopes) is nested in the UI College of Education and is a comprehensive transition program for college-age students with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience in an administrative support role, office management or other related experience. Typical experience is 1- 3 years.
- Proficiency in computer software applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with and/or interest in interacting with persons with disabilities.
- Supervisory experience in assigning work and evaluating work flow.
- Ability to collect, synthesize and manage data for the improvement of office systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors at a working proficiency level.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Content Management Systems, such as SalesForce.
- Experience with UI software systems such as Dispatch, Maui, Icon, and Maxient
- Experience assisting persons with disabilities and their families in the workplace and/or in community settings
