Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

6 months of related experience in cardiology is required.  

Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required. 

Experience with overseeing and organizing events and organizing Continuing Medical Education programs is required. 

Experience reviewing and processing administrative account expenditures and creating e-vouchers and purchase orders is required.

Experience in creating clinical and inpatient schedules required.

Experience with Epic is required. 

Experience with recruitment and onboarding of faculty and/or staff is required. 

Desired Qualifications:

Experience submitting research papers, posters, and abstracts to medical journals and conferences is highly desirable.

Experience working with medical students and residents highly desirable. 

Knowledge of University policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines as well as familiarity with UIHC is desirable. 

Experience using internal programs such as EPIC, Qgenda, ELMS, and procurement applications.
