The Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions & Enrollment Services Coordinator to support the recruitment and admissions functions for its Graduate and Professional Programs. This position plays a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, evaluating applications, and supporting new admits. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team that leverages data, technology, and high-touch engagement to meet enrollment goals and uphold Tippie’s reputation for excellence.

This role will be hybrid and require a combination of on campus and remote work.

 

Job Duties and Tasks

  • Serve as first point of contact for prospective students via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process with personalized outreach and support.
  • Represent Tippie at recruitment events, education fairs, and information sessions.
  • Review and evaluate applications for completeness and eligibility based on established criteria for all programs.
  • Support the admissions review process and assist with post-admission workflows.
  • Provide information and guidance to new admits supporting a smooth transition to Graduate and Professional Programs.
  • Manage CRM (Salesforce) records for prospective students, including data entry, updates, and campaign tracking.

Salary: $42,392-$55,000

 

This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in admissions, student services, or a client-focused support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Familiarity with University of Iowa system (e.g., MAUI)
  • Prior experience in higher education or nonprofit environments
