Application Developer– Integrated Communication Solutions (Remote Eligible w/in Iowa)
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Some current relevant experience, typically 3-5 years, in the development and/or support of applications used by non- technical customers to support and enhance business processes.
- Experience contributing to an integrated information system implementation cycle through areas such as design, workflow analysis, build, training, implementation, testing and support.
- Demonstrated experience working with end-users to analyze and define system requirements, understand business needs and convert business requirements into functional/technical specifications for complex integrated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently as well as cooperatively with others, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff.
- Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working with and supporting any of the following communication systems: Voalte, Stanley Healthcare RTLS, SMS Texting applications, Epic Secure Chat, Spok/Amcom, other mobile communication systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: ambulatory or inpatient clinical documentation, patient EHR portals, and telemedicine.
- Project Management experience implementing and managing multiple small to large-scale projects.
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects, including development of system and process documentation.
