Assistant/Associate/Director, Operations and Project Management
Education Required
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Educational Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) in budget management.
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) with personnel management – including staffing projections, organizational structure, recruiting, and hiring.
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) managing large, complex projects. Preference given to educational projects that involve multiple external stakeholders.
- Experience with leadership strategic thinking.
- Extensive proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft office suite (word and excel).
- Extensive proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
- Some (typically 6-12 months) supervisory experience.
- Experience in K-12 teaching, administration, or policy.
