Assistant Dean for Student Affairs - Dental Administration
Required Qualifications:
· Master's degree in education, student affairs, business administration, or relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
· 7 years relevant student affairs experience, such as:
o academic support and advising,
o student life,
o crisis management, and
o financial aid.
· Proven leadership experience in a higher education health science institution.
· Strong background in admissions, enrollment management, registrar, and student affairs.
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders while demonstrating a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
· Doctoral degree in higher education administration, educational leadership, student affairs, or related field.
· Extensive knowledge of higher education policies, regulations, and compliance issues.
· Familiarity with curriculum development and improvement processes, including student-centric curriculum enhancements.
· Knowledge of scholarship management and strategic utilization of funds for student recruitment goals.
Desirable:
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Previous involvement in planning and executing student award ceremonies and commencement events.
