Assistant Director - Radiology
Education Requirements:
- Requires a Master’s Degree and considerable (3-5 years) experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Considerable experience (3-5 years) in a leadership/management role in Radiology is required.
- Knowledge of and ability to manage effective and smooth operations in Radiology department by utilizing various management principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff and students.
- Ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Technology experience using multiple software applications including Microsoft office suite, Epic or other electronic medical records systems.
- Basic knowledge of University policies, procedures and systems.
- Considerable experience (3-5 years) working as an imaging technologist (eg: RT, RDMS).
