REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A master’s degree in an appropriate discipline with 1-3 years’ related experience, or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline with 3-5 years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory responsibility in previous position of either paid or unpaid staff who were providing excellent customer service in a professional environment. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with diplomacy with all levels of staff and volunteers.
  • Proficiency creating reports and pulling information from various database platforms to improve and evaluate programs efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Proven ability to work with diverse populations.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of UI and UIHC policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience in Volunteer Management.
  • Prior experience in teaching, coaching, or training.
  • Ability to create and present material for orientation and training purposes.
  • Experience in marketing and creating promotional materials.
