Assistant Research Scientist/Eng--Metabolomics Core Facility
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Doctoral degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline is required.
Excellent oral communication skills and demonstrated writing proficiency.
Published experience in the field of metabolomics.
Published experience with stable isotope (13C, 15N, 2H, 18O) tracing metabolomics.
At least one years’ experience operating a Thermo Q Exactive LC-MS Orbitrap instrument.
Working knowledge of R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures
Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail
Willingness to work flexible hours
