Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a PhD in a biomedical related field, other related science program
  • A minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible postdoctoral experience in a relevant research laboratory environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Significant experience with Drosophila, including peer-reviewed publications
  • Basic histology techniques (e.g., immunohistochemistry) and/or biochemistry techniques (e.g., western blots)
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and western blots
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Graphpad Prism
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to work independently while being accountable and efficient with time management

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with microscopy, ideally including confocal microscopy
