Assistant to Director of Trademark, Licensing & Hall of Fame
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, 1-3 years of work experience with collegiate trademark licensing industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
- Effectively use office support software (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a detailed, highly regulated, and deadline-oriented team environment.
Desired
- Increasingly responsible experience (more than 3 years) working in a university trademark licensing program or administering collegiate licensing programs including the promotion, protection, and management of trademarks and knowledge of laws and regulations related to trademarking and licensing (highly preferred).
- Experience working with licensing software, such as Brand Comply or comparable licensing software (specify software used).
- Proficient with trademark enforcement actions and software.
- Experience collaborating with internal university academic/administrative units, and student organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute social and/or business events, such as receptions, corporate meetings, etc.
