Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 1-3 years of work experience with collegiate trademark licensing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Effectively use office support software (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively in a detailed, highly regulated, and deadline-oriented team environment.

Desired

  • Increasingly responsible experience (more than 3 years) working in a university trademark licensing program or administering collegiate licensing programs including the promotion, protection, and management of trademarks and knowledge of laws and regulations related to trademarking and licensing (highly preferred).
  • Experience working with licensing software, such as Brand Comply or comparable licensing software (specify software used).
  • Proficient with trademark enforcement actions and software.
  • Experience collaborating with internal university academic/administrative units, and student organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute social and/or business events, such as receptions, corporate meetings, etc.
