Associate Director, Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates
Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Reasonable (typically 1-3 years) administrative, supervisory, and program experience is required.
- Experience working with and/or supervising college students.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint including database management.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills for writing and speaking, with diverse audiences.
Desirable Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Experience with staff supervision in higher education.
- Student advising experience.

For context, past speakers for this conference have discussed their undergraduate involvement, what undergraduates bring to a research rich institution, like the University of Iowa, or how research impacts people. The keynote is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am, and last for half an hour. Keep in mind that your audience will be college undergraduate students, with some or no research experience.
