Associate Director of Survey, Evaluation and Methodology Services
Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required
Doctoral degree in the social sciences, educational measurement, data sciences, biostatistics, management sciences, public health is required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate experience (typically 1-3 years) of supervising research staff, and managing activities across a work unit.
- Demonstrate experience (typically 1-3 years) with program, project, or research management.
- Demonstrate experience (typically 1-3 years) with social science data collection, research design, and analysis including relevant software (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R).
- Demonstrate expertise in social science research support, including emerging survey and statistical methodology.
- Superior communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, faculty and the public sector.
- Demonstrate excellent attention-to-detail, time management, and organizational skills across multiple, concurrent projects.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Demonstrate extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) of supervising research staff, and managing activities across a work unit.
- Demonstrate extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) with program, project, or research management.
- Demonstrate extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) with social science data collection, research design, and analysis including relevant software (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R).
- Demonstrate experience with survey research resources, such as CATI systems or Qualtrics.
- Demonstrate a record of publications and/or secured funding from internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to ensure transparency and integrity in data collection and management.
- Demonstrate experience with applying for internal and external funds for research.
