Associate Director, Research and Evaluation
Education Requirement
- A Master's degree in a field focused on issues of education research (e.g., Educational Measurement, Biostatistics, Statistics) or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typical experience of 1 - 3 years performing statistical and psychometric analyses, including regression techniques, linear mixed models, ANCOVA, growth modeling, regression discontinuity, and propensity score modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively on projects, flexibly adapting analytical procedures to changing project specifications, and multitasking on multiple projects at once.
Desired Qualifications
- Terminal degree in education
- Prior scientific research in literacy instruction and reading.
- Experience conducting analyses with statistical modeling principles that are typically used in the social sciences, including various regression models, linear and generalized mixed models and hierarchical models, generalized least squares designs, ANCOVA, propensity score modeling, regression discontinuity designs, and instrumental variables.
- Experience conducting research to contribute to knowledge base about methodology and application pertaining to reading interventions.
- Experience writing and speaking professionally.
