Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic arts, design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working experience in sports “action” and “studio” photojournalism
  • Proficient with Canon (or equivalent) professional photographic equipment and experience with studio lighting equipment and techniques
  • Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere and After Effects)
  • Working knowledge of and the ability to:
    • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, through exemplary customer service to all constituents;
    • Work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships;
    • Work effectively in a highly regulated team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • One to three years of experience in sports “action” and “studio” photojournalism preferred. 
  • Proficient with Apple Mac computers
  • Proficient with Photo Mechanic including culling and organizing images, adding appropriate meta data and FTP transmission
