Asst Research Scientist/Engin - Molecular Physiology & Biophysics
Education Required
Requires a Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific field.
Experience Requirements
The candidate is required to greater than three years of postdoctoral research related to biochemistry, structural and molecular biology, molecular physiology and signal transduction.
The candidate is required to have experience in protein purification, analysis of protein structure and function, fluorescence techniques, fluorescence microscopy, molecular biological techniques such as cloning and PCR, heterologous expression systems, protein crystallization and X-ray data collection.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
Experience in structural biology including protein crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering.
Background and experience in studying vertebrate phototransduction.
A strong publication record, demonstrated ability for independent research, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Bio-Layer Interferometry data collection and analysis
Experience in Molecular Dynamics simulations and analysis
