Campus Technical Trainer
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in technical training may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Typically, 3 years’ experience in technical training, adult education, or other experience as a training specialist.
• Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
• Experience with web conferencing solutions such as Zoom, Teams, Skype For Business.
• Working knowledge of personal mobile computing devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.).
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated experience working independently, with excellent time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and teamwork skills (including with technical peers).
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Desired Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Apple computers and devices.
• Experience working with Office 365, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, or LinkedIn Learning.
• Experience working in a higher education environment.
• General knowledge of the services and technologies provided by ITS and the campus IT organization and environment.
