Cedar Rapids Assistant Director of Graduate Management Programs
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience (typically one to three years) in admissions/recruiting, student services, academic program support or related business.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively communicate with students, prospects and industry/community professionals in small- and large-group settings.
• Superior interpersonal skills to develop and enhance professional relationships with a diverse group of prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, and colleagues.
• Experience with planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating events.
• Demonstrated high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability and willingness to work 1-2 evenings per week.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with the business community in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor region.
• Experience working with a graduate program for working professionals.
• Experience with LMS systems (e.g. ICON, Blackboard, etc).
• Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Salesforce in particular.
• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and systems.
