Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in hand by start date—i.e., arts administration, writing arts, non-profit management, world languages and literatures, translation, international studies; or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 2 years' experience in educational or arts program.
  • Experience creating operational calendar, monitoring and evaluation systems, managing budgets, and adapting to feedback and results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite.
  • Excellent logistical and problem-solving skills and interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in relevant field—i.e., arts administration, writing arts, non-profit management, world languages and literatures, translation, international studies.
  • Demonstrable understanding and interest in international education.
  • Experience working in partnership within an academic setting, as well as with area cultural organizations.
  • Experience with website development and management.

This position offers flexibility with a combination of on-campus and remote work. Remote work must be completed within the state of Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
