REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, communications, international education, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic relationships with various stakeholder groups.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing communication or outreach strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to large and small groups.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally, including some evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.
- Participation in a minimum of one international study abroad experience and/or time spent living in an international environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree
- Experience supervising staff or student workers.
- Experience managing complex events or outreach programs.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with trends in international education, student mobility, or global engagement.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures related to enrollment or advancement.
