CIMBA Italy transforms students’ lives through immersive, high-impact international education experiences. For over 20 years, our passionate team has delivered exceptional study abroad programs rooted in academic excellence, leadership development, and personalized support. The CIMBA Italy office at the University of Iowa is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where our team works collaboratively to connect students nationwide with life-changing opportunities abroad.

The Outreach and Partnerships Manager for CIMBA Italy is a senior member of the team. This role leads strategic outreach and relationship-building with students, alumni, partner institutions, faculty, and donors to enhance CIMBA’s global reputation and drive enrollment. The role involves significant seasonal domestic travel and occasional work outside the standard 8–5 schedule. Their work ensures that students not only hear about CIMBA but are inspired to take the leap. They also serve as a leader within the CIMBA Iowa office, collaborating closely with other high-level staff to guide strategic direction.

While the manager takes ownership of outreach strategy and stakeholder engagement, they do so in active coordination with CIMBA’s senior leadership in Italy, who hold ultimate decision-making authority over program direction. This collaboration ensures that all strategies align with CIMBA’s overarching vision and long-term goals. Senior leadership, currently based in Italy, serves as a guiding partner—working with the manager to shape and implement impactful initiatives.

Working in alignment with college-wide messaging, the manager leads and executes communications strategy, engagement programming, and partnership development to support CIMBA’s undergraduate and graduate programs. This is a high-impact role requiring leadership, creativity, and strong relationship-building skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, strategic, and collaborative, with a passion for international education and student success. This position will require approximately 20% travel. When not traveling, this role will require an on campus/in-office presence at the CIMBA office in Iowa City, IA.
