Clinical Trials Research Assistant - Pediatric Nephrology
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a natural or health science field or discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 6 months experience in research
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software applications.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and in a group setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing information requiring attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated understanding and/or experience in clinical research.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Certification that allows for blood draw (Phlebotomy Technician, Certified Medical Assistant, or LPN)
- Demonstrated experience in medical or clinical research related to nephrology.
- 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to nephrology.
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board Procedures, FDA regulations and study sponsor guidelines related to clinical trials research.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in medical research collection and validation of data.
