Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; preferred major in communication, marketing, or public relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience developing multimedia products (e.g., podcasts, print materials, and videos).
Experience creating and/or running meetings on a virtual meeting platform, such as Zoom.
Experience in graphic design and creating and editing audio and visual files.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to travel to regional and national meetings and conferences. Ability to travel overnight, valid US driving license and the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standard.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge and/or understanding of Universal Design for Learning principles.
Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including the agricultural communities.
Some experience editing website content, such as adding events to a website calendar and improving user experience.
Previous experience working with other professionals and general public.
Knowledge and/or experience about agricultural production.
Experience delivering health and safety information in a range of settings (e.g., educational, community, workplace).
