Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of relevant experience and education
  • 1-3 years of experience in a communications role or educational role involving strategic communications
  • Advanced knowledge and skill with social media platforms, including utilizing metrics to make decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn and explore other software applications and platforms to support GME strategic initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and all levels of management
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills
  • Superior attention to detail, including excellent composition and editing skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication for a variety of constituencies
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Zoom or another virtual meeting software, including the ability to create and analyze polls
  • Proficiency in Qualtrics or another similar enterprise level surveying software and experience in designing surveys and interpreting results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a communications role or educational role involving strategic communications
  • Experience in managing and creating content for websites and/or social media accounts
  • Experience working with and/or supporting executive leaders in a strategic capacity
