Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication, marketing, journalism, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required:
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) in the following areas:
- Public Relations or marketing
- Producing content in a variety of formats including print, web, social media, and advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to write effectively under deadline for a variety of purposes, audiences, and media.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think and plan across channels and develop effective communication strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to use tools and techniques for developing web-based dissemination of information, including website design, layout, and user experience requirements, and accessibility.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality infographics and/or other media to represent data, knowledge, or information.
