Core Facility Rsrch Specialist
Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required
A Master’s degree in a scientific field or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 2-3 years of experience with e-beam UHV systems and electronics.
- Prior experience with maintenance and repair of research instrumentation for physical sciences and engineering applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a position of increasing responsibility.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- A PhD in a scientific field or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Desirable Qualifications
- Post-degree professional experience of at least one year after the completion of the doctoral degree.
- Familiarity with electron-beam lithography, reactive-ion etching, atomic layer deposition, chemical vapor deposition methods for micro and nanofabrication applications.
- Familiarity with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), analytical techniques and data analysis.
