Dance Accompanist – Department of Dance
Education Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in required area of musical performance or equivalent combination of education and professional accompanying experience.
Required Qualifications:
|
· 3-5 years of experience as a professional accompanist. |
|
· Basic professional level music skills in the style and instrument that will support the assigned courses. |
|
· Working knowledge of accompaniment genre such as Modern Dance, Ballet, Vocal Music, and Instrumental Music. |
|
· Approachable, cooperative, and able to contribute to an overall positive and productive work/team environment. (Basic Experience) |
Desired Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree preferred.
· Experience working in a higher education setting desired.
