Database Administrator - ICTS - Biomedical Informatics
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with healthcare, clinical, biomedical, or research data
· Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL or related database technologies
· Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) data and healthcare terminology systems
· Understanding of healthcare data structures, clinical workflows, and healthcare coding systems (ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.)
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in collaborative environments
· Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across interdisciplinary teams
Desirable Qualifications
· Experience working with Epic, including Clarity, Caboodle, or related reporting databases
· Epic Certifications: Clarity, Caboodle
· Experience supporting clinical, translational, or academic research initiatives
· Familiarity with research data warehouses and large-scale healthcare datasets
· Experience using Python, R, SAS, or similar tools for data analysis or automation
· Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and data exchange standards such as HL7 or FHIR
· Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
· Experience working within academic healthcare or CTSA-supported environments
· Familiarity with HIPAA, data governance, and research compliance practices
