Digital Media Specialist
Education Required:
A bachelor’s degree in technical theatre or fine arts discipline, or equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate and work effectively with diverse individuals in a diverse environment in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- One year of demonstrated experience in theatrical production and live performance.
- Proficiency with a computer programming language such as Python, C++, or JavaScript
- Demonstrated proficiency with large format video projection and live video
- Experience with virtual, augmented, or mixed reality
- Experience with Unity, Unreal, or 3DS Max software
- Demonstrated proficiency with Disguise, Isadora, Touch Designer, Pixera, or Pandoras Box software
- Experience with peer-to-peer computer networks as well as the usage of one other networking protocol such as OSC, MIDI, or ARTNET.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with virtual production including live cameras, greenscreen, and sound routing.
- Experience with motion capture technologies such as OptiTrack or Vicon and/or inertia motion capture suit technologies such as Perception Nueron, Rokoko or Realsense suits.
- Vision based sensor systems
- Web app development for integration of backend systems
- Experience working with students in a performing arts capacity, providing a training ground and opportunities for experiential learning.
