Position Qualifications:
Education Requirement:
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of related or relevant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to provide leadership and direction and to perform well in a team environment.
- Evidence of strong organizational and prioritization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated constructive and collaborative relationship building skills with a variety of individuals and groups, including peers, leadership, and external constituents.
- Experience and confidence using web-based platforms for file sharing, including Sharepoint, Office 365, and Zoom.
- Experience in planning, organizing, and executing large events.
- Evidence of ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
- Ability to work with individuals and groups in a constructive and respectful manner while appreciating the unique contribution of an inclusive workforce that brings together the talents of people across multiple identities.
- Professional communication skills with demonstrated ability to represent Iowa Law at professional networking and alumni events
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain UI’s Fleet Safety Standards.
- Ability to work some evening and weekends.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience and evidence of project management skills.
- Experience working with alums in a higher education setting
- Prior supervisory experience- in person and remote
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures
