Required Qualifications:

• JD or Master’s Degree in Business, Counseling, Education, Student Services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience (preferably 2-3 years) providing support services to international and/or domestic students

• Experience (preferably 2-3 years) leading and/or facilitating training or informative presentations to a diverse audience for informational or targeted goal purposes, achieving successful outcomes

• Knowledge of recruitment and assessment practices with ability to determine high quality international student candidates eligible for admittance in law degree programs

• Ability to identify campus and community resources in support of the unique needs of international students and facilitate a supportive environment for student well-being and success

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population


Desirable Qualifications:

• LLM or SJD

• Law Degree from a foreign law school

• Experience (preferably 1-3 years) practicing law in the United States

• Demonstrated knowledge of immigration requirements for international/foreign born students entering the U.S. for training, externships and employment

• Career Services experience (preferably 1-3 years) such as: law school career services department, recruitment experience for a law firm or an executive search firm, or comparable placement experience

• Study abroad experience or some international background

• Ability to travel internationally

• Fluency or proficiency in at least one language other than English
