Director of Reimbursement - Finance and Accouting Services

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required  
• 5-7 years of relevant healthcare accounting experience in hospital reimbursement
• Demonstrated progressive leadership experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of complex financial and statistical analysis and presentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications
• Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment

Desired Qualifications

• CPA, MHA or MBA is preferred 
• 3+ years reimbursement in an academic medical center setting including experience with Disproportionate Share (DSH), Graduate Medical Education, and Organ Transplants 
• Knowledge of physician reimbursement 
• Experience with Epic patient accounting system and Health Financial Systems (HFS) cost report software
• Strong Medicaid payment supplemental methodologies with knowledge of Medicaid DSH, GME and/or Directed Payment experience is preferred
