Director of Reimbursement - Finance and Accouting Services
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 5-7 years of relevant healthcare accounting experience in hospital reimbursement
- Demonstrated progressive leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of complex financial and statistical analysis and presentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications
- Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, MHA or MBA is preferred
- 3+ years reimbursement in an academic medical center setting including experience with Disproportionate Share (DSH), Graduate Medical Education, and Organ Transplants
- Knowledge of physician reimbursement
- Experience with Epic patient accounting system and Health Financial Systems (HFS) cost report software
- Strong Medicaid payment supplemental methodologies with knowledge of Medicaid DSH, GME and/or Directed Payment experience is preferred
