Education Manager - Institute for Public Health Practice, Research and Policy
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a field related to public health or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience (1-3 yrs) in program management.
Previous experience (1-3 yrs) evaluating program effectiveness and efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across the organization at all levels; demonstrated effectiveness in building teams and collaborations; ability to adapt as needed.
Ability to travel in Iowa and out-of-state with overnight stays.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements of the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standard.
Highly Desirable Qualification:
Experience developing and evaluating workforce development assessment strategies.
Experience working with practice and academic partners in other states or HHS Regions.
Desirable Qualifications:
Evidence of success in working with multiple groups of people at all levels (e.g. students/participants, government, faculty, director, etc.)
