Education Requirement  

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, other health discipline, public health, or higher education administration or student services.

 

Experience Required

  • Reasonable (2-3 years) experience in program coordination and skill in management of multiple concurrent projects or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with experiential program design, delivery, or coordination.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite on the PC platform.
  • Must be able to manage data in spreadsheets and databases and course materials on a course management web site.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain the University of Iowa's Fleet Safety standards is required.

 

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • PharmD or Master’s degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, other health discipline, public health or education.
  • Some (6 months-1 year) experience in public speaking and teaching.

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience working with college students and faculty on a professional level.
  • Knowledge of contemporary pharmacy practice, college of pharmacy curriculum and accreditation standards.
  • Preceptor Experience.
