This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Position Summary:

The Enterprise Reporting Analyst at Iowa Health Care Information Systems is responsible for developing reports and analysis for clinical, financial, operational and provider practices areas. This includes engaging with data stewards and stakeholders to understand workflows and processes to provide accurate, actionable information.

 Position Responsibilities:

  •        Collaborate with internal customer/stakeholders to define and document data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
  •        Assist in the preparation, cleansing, and verification of data.
  •        Fulfill data requests timely, using appropriate tools and applications within Epic or third-party BI tools.
  •        Perform basic data manipulation and analysis techniques.
  •        Provide first tier end user support and guidance for data solutions, platforms, and training.
  •        Document all aspects of process when developing analysis including requirements, design, decisions, logic, inclusions, exclusions, and code.

Salary: $60,894.00 to commensurate – 3B

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

  •        Experience, typically 1 year, in MS SQL to write optimized queries across large volumes of data.
  •        Conceptual understanding of data warehouse systems and processes
  •        Understanding of data visualization/reporting tools
  •        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •        Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  •        Ability to use creative thinking when working with data.

Desirable Qualifications:

  •        Epic (any) Cogito certifications
  •        Knowledge and experience of relational database query (SQL) skills and large databases
  •        Knowledge and experience of reporting tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlikview, Alteryx or other similar tools.)
