Enviro Systems Mechanic III - HVAC
Required Qualifications
- Eight years of experience in computerized building environmental automation systems, refrigeration or air conditioning work, including apprenticeship, with two years of experience in evaluating and recommending system optimization changes, <or> Two years of experience in evaluating and recommending system optimization changes, plus six years of experience in temperature and computerized building environmental automation systems, refrigeration or air conditioning work, including apprenticeship <or> Two years of experience in evaluating and recommending system optimization changes, plus two years of experience in computerized building environmental automation systems and four years of experience in temperature control, refrigeration or air conditioning work, including apprenticeship.
- Refrigeration certification of at least Type 2.
- Experience with Johnson or Andover Controls
- Valid drivers license and ability to meet and maintain compliance with the University’s Driving Policy.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous soldering experience.
- Commercial / industrial HVAC experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Project work knowledge and use of equipment.
- Public contact / customer service experience.
- Mechanical license.
- Hydronic license.
- Pump alignment certification.
- Vibration analysis certification.
- Pump alignment certification.
- Vibration analysis certification.
- Class A/B Operator certification for underground storage tanks.
