Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to three years of experience successfully performing administration tasks in support of individuals, teams or units.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operation and application of academic standards and curricular policies, and the ability to coordinate and support academic activities to enhance the operation and function of a fellowship training program or similar academic program.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in processing a high volume of information and the ability to develop and follow consistent processes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available on the desktop (e.g. calendaring, word processing, email, presentation software and spreadsheets).
  • Superior communication techniques, relationship building skills, and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce documents that are clear and well-presented; ability to use various techniques to disseminate and gather information; ability to adapt writing to different audiences.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with Graduate Medical Education.
  • Experience working with ACGME accreditation
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Ability to apply the organization’s performance management system, practice, and tools to develop and improve individual, team, and organizational performance. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
