Flight Paramedic (AirCare - Waterloo, IA)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduation from high school.
- Current Iowa EMT-PS, Critical Care Paramedic certification.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS NRP and PHTLS are required.
- TPATC is required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum 3 years of advanced life support in the field while working as a full-time emergency response paramedic, and
- Demonstrated success in the field of advanced life support.
- Must obtain Certified Flight Paramedic certification within 2 years of hire.
Special Qualification:
- Current course completion card in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer applicants with current Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) certification.
- Prefer applicants with an Associate degree in Paramedic.
