Grad Program Coordinator & Communication Coordinator - Department of English
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Typically 1-2 years providing administrative support for a program that includes supporting/coordinating day to day operations and providing support to an administrator/manager or similar position.
· Experience working in a position requiring a high level of customer service while maintaining confidentiality including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated working competency using Microsoft Office Programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel, including experience with data collection, management and reporting processes.
· Must demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and effectively, proactively establish priorities and meet deadlines, and solve problems independently and creatively.
Desired qualifications:
· Demonstrated working proficiency in social media platforms, including maintaining a regular posting schedule, producing content, growing audiences, and collecting and utilizing analytics to guide strategy.
· Experience with website maintenance and functional knowledge of web platforms such as Drupal.
· Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute events and to coordinate resources before, during and after an event.
· Knowledge of student records management systems such as MAUI
· Knowledge of UI policies and procedures.
· Functional knowledge of Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
