Grant Accountant
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills
- Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
Desirable Qualifications
- Work or internship experience in accounting, customer service, or research
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience preparing or administering grants or contracts
- Experience working in an academic setting
- Experience working with the University of Iowa Research Information System (UIRIS) and/or University of Iowa financial reports
