Grant Accountant

Required Qualifications 

• A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills 
• Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word

Desirable Qualifications 

• Work or internship experience in accounting, customer service, or research 
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience preparing or administering grants or contracts 
• Experience working in an academic setting
• Experience working with the University of Iowa Research Information System (UIRIS) and/or University of Iowa financial reports
