Health Care Svcs Executive
Required Qualifications
·
A Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience is required.
·
10+ years of substantial and progressive health care compliance-related
experience, such as compliance operations experience in an organization of
similar complexity is necessary.
·
Thorough knowledge of applicable billing and coding laws, regulations,
policies, and guidance is required.
·
Thorough knowledge of applicable laws including HIPAA and fraud and
abuse laws applicable to hospitals is required
·
Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity
in the work/academic environment is required.
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Desirable Qualifications
· Certification in Health Care Privacy and/or HCCA certification is desirable.
· Current HIM certification as RHIT or RHIA or coding certification (i.e. CPC, CCS, CCSP, etc.) through nationally recognized credentialing body such as AHIMA or AAPC is desirable.
