Required Qualifications

  • A  Bachelor's degree in a natural or health science field or discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum of one year of prior research experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry and managing research databases according to best practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in molecular biology techniques.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent in organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.

Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in hematology/hemostasis/thrombosis.
  • Experience using in vector/gene therapy studies, tissue sectioning and immunohistochemistry.
  • Minimum of one year experience caring for and handling mice to include mouse colony maintenance and management is highly desired.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience arranging and planning weekly to monthly activities to prepare for and perform experiments.
  • Experience performing experimental procedures assuring fidelity to protocols; record and consolidate data as directed by Principal Investigator (PI).
