Hematology Research Assistant
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a natural or health science field or discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year of prior research experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with data entry and managing research databases according to best practice.
- Demonstrated experience in molecular biology techniques.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent in organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in hematology/hemostasis/thrombosis.
- Experience using in vector/gene therapy studies, tissue sectioning and immunohistochemistry.
- Minimum of one year experience caring for and handling mice to include mouse colony maintenance and management is highly desired.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience arranging and planning weekly to monthly activities to prepare for and perform experiments.
- Experience performing experimental procedures assuring fidelity to protocols; record and consolidate data as directed by Principal Investigator (PI).
