Education Requirement 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience, typically 1-2 years, in Human Resources, including communicating HR policies and procedures. 
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and to ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced. 
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods. 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of payroll and HR systems in university setting (e.g. Oracle PeopleSoft, student database, etc.) 
  • Previous experience with transaction processing. 
  • Some knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources. 
  • Experience generating data reports.
