HR Generalist - Finance and Operations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related HR experience.
- Experience (typically 3 years) managing a full range of Human Resources responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of current federal and state laws, statutes, regulations, policies, and directives pertaining to HR.
- Demonstrable verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of individuals. Possesses organizational awareness and cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Deep commitment to and demonstrated success discussing, integrating, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout a complex and dynamic organization.
- Demonstrated working proficiency with MS office skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Generalist human resources experience in a large, complex organization, including working with contract-covered staff, FMLA/ADA management, and employee and labor relations.
- 5+ years of experience managing a full range of Human Resources responsibilities.
- Project management and leadership experience.
- Demonstrable ability to drive change: to transform, align and inspire across all levels within an organization.
- Experience with interpreting and utilizing policies, procedures, and HR online systems.
- Professional Human Resources certification.
- HR experience in a higher education environment.
