HR Generalist - Stead Family Children’s Hospital/CHSC
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience, including experience in recruitment, performance management and classification and compensation.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
- Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer software applications.
- Ability to travel to CHSC clinic locations as needed. Requires valid driver’s license plus the ability to meet and maintain the University of Iowa Fleet Safety standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with a large number of employees and complex environment.
- Prior experience in a hospital and/or academic medical setting.
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Strong employee relations experience and skills.
- Professional certification in human resources (e.g. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP).
