Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related filed, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years human resources experience as a generalist or in multiple specialties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse teams, including the ability to lead initiatives to advance diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability with providing excellent and timely customer service.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field
  • Experience supervising, developing and motivating staff in a team environment.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM HR professional certification.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high transaction volume environment.
  • Knowledge of health care and university policies and procedures.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
