HR Specialist - CLAS HR Transaction Hub
Education Required
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and to ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods.
- Proficient analytical skills including the ability to analyze a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work with users at all levels of experience as a team member and as a self-motivated sole contributor.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
- Working experience with electronic processing systems, such as Workflow.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
- Previous experience working in higher education.
