Human Resource Generalist
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years human resources experience functioning in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist and/or related HR position.
- Prior experience performing and/or supporting multiple HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and classification, and payroll.
- Proficiency in computer software applications includingonline talent management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary setting; excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer software applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
- Prior experience with performance management implementation and strategies
- Prior work experience in a health care, hospital and/or academic medial setting.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and HR systems.
- Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM-CP desired
